I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your difficulties and connect more deeply with what’s going on. Together, we can begin to notice patterns, widen perspectives, and explore ways of being that feel more aligned, more within your control, and more supportive of the life you want to live. We can identify practical ways to break these cycles so that distress becomes more manageable and you can respond differently to difficult situations.
My therapeutic approach integrates a range of evidence-based techniques applied in a person-centred way, taking into account the interconnectedness of thoughts, emotions, our reactions, and embodied experiences.
I have over 20 years of experience working within the NHS, charity and university contexts in different roles. I work with adults and teens (16+) across a broad range of challenges, and across socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
My work is strongly rooted in anti-discriminatory practice. I understand distress not solely as an individual experience, but as a layered one shaped by culture, history, socio-political context.
My commitment to reflective practice comes from years of teaching, supervising, researching, and reflecting on how difference and power operate within therapy and beyond it. I strive to remain curious, accountable, and open to learning, and to offer therapy that is attentive to inner experience and the wider world we are part of.
